Dutch DJ/producer Laurens van Oers (Lavano) is a fairly new face to the Electronic music scene. Despite the fact he only started producing dance music in 2014, he has always been extremely passionate about music. Starting at the age of 6, he played both piano and guitar and at the age of 13 he started playing and singing in several pop-rock bands. Around that time he also got his first computer and he dove into various producer software making and mixing Hardstyle music. Around his twenties he went solo to become a singer-songwriter under the alias 'Moon And Man'. His interest of electronic music was still weighing in the back of his mind and he soon returned to the electronic scene under the new alias 'Lavano'. 
His debut single 'Perfect Storm' gained critical acclaim and support from multiple radio stations in The Netherlands. Never one to settle in place, van Oers takes his inspiration from indie-rock, to jazz, to classical music.  He listens to everything and lets his broad taste inform his musical decisions.
